Middle School Arts Camp Class Descriptions

Bucket Stools: Using a 5-gallon bucket and fabric, students will construct a comfy padded stool.

Chalk Art: Construct beautiful pictures using chalk.

Cooking: Are you addicted to the Food Network? Be your own Guy Fiere in our Arts Camp kitchen.

Junk Art: Create art from objects someone else has thrown away.

Mask Making: Using the same material used for casts, create a mask to tell your story. Please note Petroleum Jelly is used in this class.

Photography: Learn the basics of taking a good picture.

Print Making: Students will create several different prints using a few different styles of print making. This is a fun, unique and creative art form if you enjoy graphic, bold, modern art this one is for you!

Taekwondo: This class will introduce you to the basics of Taekwondo, a Korean Martial Art. Not all of us are gifted in music or dance but by exploring the movements of taekwondo we will gain a deeper appreciation for strength and flexibility as well as develop perseverance, respect, and integrity.

Wired: Create a tree sculpture with wire, rock, and glass beads that reflects God's creation.
